EP Minerals, LLC Announces Price Increases for Diatomaceous Earth Powder, Perlite, Bleaching Clay, Adsorbent and Cellulose Products

Reno, NV, April 17, 2019-- EP Minerals, LLC, a U.S. Silica company and global leader in industrial minerals and engineered materials, announced today that it will implement a 3-6% price increase on June 1, 2019, across all grades of diatomaceous earth powder, perlite, bleaching clay, adsorbent and cellulose products, or will do so as existing contracts allow. The increase will be applied in North America and South America.The price increase is necessary to offset inflationary pressure with the rise in costs related to ore, packaging, labor, and energy, and to support continued reinvestment in the business. EP Minerals' absorbent and granular products are not affected by the June 1, 2019 price increase.
