EP Minerals mines and produces the two most commonly used granular absorbents for the automotive, industrial, janitorial and remediation industries: Diatomaceous earth (DE) and montmorillonite clay. Today, EP Minerals' brands are highly recognized throughout the automotive, industrial, janitorial and remediation industries and are distributed by many of these industry distributors. These industries have trusted the performance, quality and service of EP Minerals' products for more than 30 years.
Solid-a-Sorb® is designed for internal applications. Due to it's lower density and finer granulation, this product offers fast-acting absorption and is easily swept up and disposed of. Solid-a-Sorb, a 100% natural diatomaceous earth product, provides a safe and reliable option for cleaning liquid spills and is ideally suited for your waste remediation needs. Known for its porosity and extraordinary surface area, Solid-a-Sorb provides a conductive atmosphere for microbial “bugs" to grow and speed up the natural biodegradation of oil based liquids. Solid-a-Sorb is non-corrosive and non-reactive in acids (except hydrofluoric acid), making it safe for personal handling both the products and equipment.
This product is kiln-fired to eliminate potential product breakdown and provides versatile use for all non-aggressive fluids in the automotive, industrial, janitorial and remediation industries. Suitable for both commercial and home environments, our absorbent products are manufactured from 100% natural minerals with no chemical additives, and won't damage asphalt, cement or tile.
*When disposing of granular absorbents, please check with your local, state and federal environmental regulations.
